Reflections: May
As usual, my procrastination has caused May’s reflection post to be delayed
Missed January, February, March and April?
GOALS: MAY
1. 11 races in 2011: May was another non-racing month. The weather here is brutally hot, so I may very well not be able to race again until August or September!
2. Run 1250 miles this year! May’s total (126.5 miles!) brought me back up in total mileage for the year, so i’m quite certain June’s mileage will be easy to hit. I’m already at 36.9 miles!
3. More “meditation” time: This month was too busy, so my meditation time kind of turned into tv time. Whoops…
4. Weight lifting: I managed to lift 2-3 times a week at home, using my TRX bands, dumbbells, resistance bands, medicine and physio balls, and my BOSU ball.
5. Drink more water: Water intake was good this month, especially after purchasing a new tumbler/style waterbottle!
6. Save money: We did well in May! The only expenses that really bumped up our month’s total were flight costs.
7. Colorful foods: Check!
8. Be more proactive about getting new clients/students: I got 2 new clients, with a possible 3rd on the way!
9. Piano + 10. Chinese: Still being a slacker…
11. Date night with Ez: We had some date nights with friends and I even had an afternoon date at my favorite restaurant in Dongguan, Grissini!
Let’s go JUNE! I’ll be in Germany for almost half the month, but i’m hoping to be able to keep up with my goals, and blogging!!
