GOALS: JULY
1. 11 races in 2011: Still no races…this goal may have to be cut in half for this year, unless I start running 2 races a month.
2. Run 1250 miles this year! July’s total was 129.3, bringing the grand total to 702.6. I’m back in the game. Boo-yah!
3. More “meditation” time: Yoga is definitely helping, but I struggle to practice more than once a week! Looking to improve this…
4. Weight lifting: Yoga will be my substitute for weight lifting at the moment, but since i’m going to start training Ezra again, I may start training with him, for an extra workout.
5. Drink more water: This month was great! It helped that I put “drink at least 8 glasses of water a day” on my list of things to do
6. Save money: July was a bit of a bust, since we spent a long weekend in Hong Kong, but I have high hopes for August!
7. Colorful foods: Check!
8. Be more proactive about getting new clients/students: I picked up 2 new, wonderful piano students!
9. Piano: I’ve had more time to practice piano, and that issue with the keyboard mysteriously fixed itself…
10. German: I started working through a McGraw-Hill book, speaking a little more with Ez, and listening to the news in German, some mornings.
11. Date night with Ez: Check! We spent a wonderful weekend in Hong Kong. Saw Harry Potter IMAX 3D, and had wonderful meals and fro-yo/Döner kebab desserts. YUM.
August is looking up, mostly because work is picking up too! People are starting to come back form their vacations, plus, I always feel more productive when my day is busy, and I have little time to get things done.
